TRANQUIL OASIS · PALM JUMEIRAH

Architecture · Interior · Landscape · Design + Build | Dubai

A private villa on the Palm, designed as one continuous idea — the architecture, the interiors and the garden shaped together rather than in sequence. The spaces stay calm and pared back, opening generously to light and water, so the setting is always part of the room. Materials are warm and tactile, proportions considered for ease rather than effect: a home meant to feel restorative to live in, not just to look at.

Every decision was made through a neuroscience-informed lens — how light, texture and flow shape mood and calm — so the sense of quiet is designed, not incidental.

The project was widely shared and warmly received, featured across design press and celebrated by the community for its serenity and calmness.

“We aimed to design a home that makes the owner feel tranquil and harmonious. This place is created to be a luxurious place to reset and restore from the bustling life of the dynamic big city that surrounds it.” - Evgeniia Molchanova, Founder & Architect

The interiors read as a warm monochrome — a tight range of tones, brought to life through texture rather than colour. Smooth against rough, refined against raw: the material does the work that pattern usually would. We built it from natural and non-toxic materials, a deliberate choice about the health of the people living there, especially in a dense city.

The ground floor is transparent. From the entrance there's nothing between you and the beach — one open, air-filled space where it's hard to say where the interior ends and the outside begins. At its centre is the dining table: two solid pieces of marble on a stainless steel base, grown straight from the floor and too heavy to move. It's part of the house's bone structure, not furniture placed in it.

A stainless steel screen divides dining from living without closing either off — its face an oversized, graphic composition of shelf openings that keeps the sightlines open.

Upstairs, the bedrooms each open to a wide terrace and the sea and city views across Palm Jumeirah. A private infinity pool, landscaped gardens and a gourmet kitchen complete the house.
