LIMESTONE RESIDENCE

A calm, sensory-balanced apartment in one of the DIFC's high-end towers, rooted in neuroarchitecture. Travertine and natural materials carry a palette of soft, neutral tones, so the eye moves through the space without friction and nothing overstimulates. The warmth and texture of stone against muted contrasts gives the home a sense of grounding and ease.

At its centre is a custom travertine wall that quietly does two jobs: it softly divides the glass kitchen from the corridor, and it holds the television — a partition that separates without closing anything off. Throughout, we chose cleaner, low-toxicity materials, down to the flooring and tiles, and set the lighting to shift with the moods of the day, supporting the body's circadian rhythm. Touches of Japanese influence run through the home, a nod to the client's own taste, alongside the pieces that matter most to them.
